**Please note, one of our greatest responsibilities at St. Francis de Sales Parish is the protection of all children under our care. For that reason, all volunteers must attend the Archdiocese Child Protection class and be fingerprinted at an approved location before being placed on our Parish volunteer list. Please see the links to the right for more information.
Halloween Bash-Our annual Halloween Bash starts with a costume parade, followed by a variety of games and activities for the children to enjoy, and concludes with a snack back in the classroom. Fun for the whole family! Volunteers set up and run a station and help clean up afterward.
Veteran's Day- A morning full of grade-appropriate activities to honor our country's veterans. Stories, crafts, media sources and accounts from our veterans are highlights of the day. Volunteers assist a class with activities using provided plans and materials.
Talent Show- This event is held during odd-numbered years in the month of January.
Everybody Counts- This annual program builds an understanding of a variety of disabilities (for example, deafness, blindness, mental retardation...) with an emphasis on compassion. Held in March, program volunteers assist a class with activities using provided plans and materials.
Special Days: Occasionally parent volunteers assist with other special events such Science Day, Vehicle Day, special Catholic Schools Week events, Service Events, etc. Some of these are traditional events and others are the result of parent or student suggestions.
